Phase 4 Verification Reports, The Final Step in the Phased Approach to Land Contamination
Phase 4 Verification Reports are the final step in the Phased Approach to Land contamination, and are completed post-construction.
Verification reports are essentially a document which provides proof that remediation has been completed in-line with the recommendations of the Phase 3 Remediation Scheme.
Validation of remedial measures is often required, and may involve excavation of hand-dug inspection pits to prove cover-soil thickness and presence of geotextile membranes.
The Phase 4 Verification Report will also contain a record of all documentation related to the remediation, for example;
- Waste Transfer Notes
- Geotextile Membrane Receipts
- Testing Certificates for Imported Soil
- Site Photographs
At GCL we work closely with our Clients to ensure remedial measures are carried out to the highest standard, thus ensuring a smooth and hassle-free Phase 4 verification process.
