Phase 1 Desk Study Porthtowan
Ground Consultants Limited recently completed a Phase 1 Desk Study in Porthtowan for a proposed residential development
The team were recently in Porthtowan conducting a Phase 1 Preliminary Risk Assessment (Desk Study) and associated mine search for a proposed residential development.
Analysis of geochemical data, as well as nearby historic site investigations, indicated a moderate risk from elevated levels of arsenic, as well as historic mining.
The team will be back on site in the coming months to conduct a combined environmental, geotechnical and mining investigation, involving;
- Windowless Sample Boreholes
- Trial Pits
- Soakaway Tests
- CBR testing
- Environmental sampling and laboratory testing
- Geotechnical sampling and laboratory testing
- Full interpretive reporting
