Complex Phase 1 Desk Study in the Historic City of Bath

Ground Consultants Limited have recently completed a Phase 1 Desk Study in the Historic city of Bath, at the site of an existing car garage and former petrol station.

The team delved deep into the history of the site, as well as looking at the underlying geology. Landslip deposits are recorded to underlie the steeply sloping site, resulting in a need for a detailed geotechnical ground investigation.

GCL will be back in the coming months to quantify the extent of any contamination on site, as well as appraise the geotechnical issues.
